Just finished my paper today. Next semester will be my last semester in usm. I wonder why, but I just felt this semester was pretty hard for me. Maybe I was putting too much pressure on myself, trying to do the best in the remaining time. I was expecting myself losing control, screaming like a mad woman for gaining freedom! But maybe the emotion was held on for too long until it's hidden too deep inside me.

There are always so many options in life. I grow to be more sentimental about the life I am having now and gonna to step forward and start afresh. It's not a bad thing as life is as what it is. It makes me to learn to cherish and appreciate more on the things that happen daily but somehow, time flies and when I realize it, it has already gone away.

Recently, I love to listen to this song but I was so so so busy for the study and had no time to share this with you. I actually prefer the acoustic version instead of the original version. And when he has gone, then only you realize how much you regret, for making him as the one that got away.

It's the last day of year 2011. Most of the usm students spending the day in campus, digesting notes and books. For me, I have spent the whole day in the library. However I couldn't really concentrate today no matter how much I have motivated myself. Played the tetris battle game in Facebook. I have stopped playing this game since last year but due to the boredom, I still enjoyed playing it. In the exam weeks, FOOD is my only entertainment, which is something that I anticipate everyday. Today, we had treating ourselves better with famous steam fish! Of course, in Nibong Tebal. Feeling lazy to stuck at the jam to autocity and island.

What happened today was truly a blessing from God. It is a miracle. Without God I never thought that myself can come to this stage. He makes me to be daring, braver and even stronger, because I know He will always back me up. His unconditional love is always there to accompany me to finish this journey. I think i'm about to come to a crossroad. A crossroad between where I want to go and what I want to do. Do I want to stay here? Not really, I want to go overseas and work where with the exchange rate i'll earn in 2 years what people need to work here for 5.

It all works out very well in my mind, but does it really happen as how I ~~think~~ hope it would? How often has life turned out the way we wanted to? Not very often for me but no matter how lousy or how detrimental the situation seems to be, it'll somehow work out fine. And thats what i'm hoping for, that somehow my plans will work out fine.

Now all i have to do is let God to lead. Amen.

She is naughty, huge eater, huge poo poo-er, active, and violent. She likes to jump on you when you are back, to welcome you. She is getting bigger, taller and fatter now. A 10 month baby husky grows so fast until you can't imagine. I like to force her to poo poo at the same place, love to call mikol good girl, love to see her smile.

Understanding, quiet and loyal. She always stick with my mom when they take a stroll outside of the house. When you talk to her, she seem to understand you. However, this cutie eats alot! Surprisingly sometimes she can eat the same portion as mikol. Unlike other doggie, who shake the tail, Peanut shakes her ass together with the tail. Imagine half of the body shaking horizontally, and her tail will hit our legs,

Butter

She is active. Don't ever underestimate her due to the mini body. She actually barks when she fights with mikol. Wrestling with mikol is her hobby. But she doesn't eat a lot. Her weight is 40% lesser than the fatty peanut. Imagine I can carry butter from their spot to the car, but to carry peanut, I need to stop halfway and rest.

Again and again, it's not bored. It's being anticipated by me since the previous one. We can meet up again!!! I wouldnt want to complain how hard to arrange the time, date, people and the activities, the result is we had made it!

This time, we had Mr. Nono, who predicted our friendship wont last for 2 years after we graduated. But too bad, he is wrong and he is here to witness our growth.

As usual, we just talked and talked and talked. I suggested to go to pub and drink. Too bad I think I am the minority. Most of them didnt buy my suggestion. Instead, they bought drinks back to home and drink. Of course it contained certain % of alchohol! haha... Sound like I am really a drinker isnt it? Honestly I am NOT!

Had our sing k moment in somewhere near Sunway Giza. Finally our mrsm gathering has somewhere new to go!

We had our korean BBQ in Daorea near Sunway Giza. I have been to Daorea in Batu Ferringhi before. This branch is totally sucks, especially the service of the waiter. Besides, the side dishes are limited and not nice. And the aircon was spoiled that day! I will never go to this branch anymore...

It's my first time drinking Gong Cha in the Garden. I wonder why I didnt try it in HK last time. It's milky, and actually I still prefer Chatime pearl milk tea. The 30% sugar option of Chatime suits and comforts me as the calorie kills me.

Finally, we have reached the first settlement.

See the village? It's up at the hill.

We need to carry all the stuff for orang asli. The penghulu will distribute to the villagers.

There are solar panel and generators to supply limited electricity to the villagers.

Everyone has gathred at the pondok.

We had distributed biscuit and vitamin c to the villagers.

Some of the kids in this village were sick. These two girls were having flu as you can see the mucus kept flowing out from the nose and some of them were already dried and stuck at the nose hole.

Baby girl was crying because she was afraid of the strangers.

Cf-ers had performed a mini sketch, spreading the love and the power of Jesus Christ, son of God. The villagers in this settlement can only understand limited Malay so we just kept everything simple.

Kids were wondering what we were performing. haha. Usually only old people here can understand a little bit of Malay Language. However, kids cant understand at all. Teenagers are being sent to school and they can understand better.

I got the chance to talk with this old lady. She has introduced her 'huge' family members to me. We prepared some small cards with simple prayer for us to teach them how to pray.

Mission trip ♥

We were heading to Pengkalan Hulu, Perak on last friday. Until I joined this mission trip, I didnt even hear of this place and the location. Some say it's a small town filled with lots of orang asli families. I was anticipating, to meet the people there.

We stopped by a place where there is mountain view available for group photo. haha... They said it's cf's mission trip tradition, stopped here to take picture. Actually it's just 20 minutes away from Pengkalan Hulu.

Here come the posers. They must be thinking that they are very cool huh...

Finally, we have reached the destination in safe. We first headed to the church, the place where we would be staying for 3 days.

After this, we were invited to a house of orang asli for dinner.

We were warm welcomed by the family. Dishes were served already on the floor and everyone just sat in a circle to have dinner together. Wow! seriously never tried this before.

The dishes were passed to one by one to take the food. This was my meal =) Delicious ♥

Strongly recommended this dish to everyone. I was like a sakai when Joy explained this to me. It's Paku Pakis. Little did I know that it's very famous in Borneo. Wonder why people in Peninsular dont eat this. It's nice!

On the next day, 10 of us followed Pastor Loh to have orang asli visitation in Pulau Banting.

We went to Pastor Loh's house first to get the supplies and clothing for the orang asli.

After two hours of journey in car, we reached the jetty. There would be one more hour journey by boat to Pulau Banting.

Met this little cutie here. It's my first time feeling that a monkey is so cute and loving. haha...

To go to the toilet at the jetty, we need to cross this old and fragile weak which seem to collapse in anytime. I was stuck there for awhile.

Besides, the ambiance and architecture in Jalan Tun Razak is more classy and cozy. And it is suitable for sweet couple for romantic meal there! So, dont think both Delicious are the same.

I am officially back to penang again. This time I will be stuck here for 3 months long. Back to cny, though it's short, it's great. Going back to kampong in Machap Baru Malacca, meeting up my mom's side relatives on the 2nd day of cny, watching movie with cousins, every memory is sweet.

I never regret to travel so far away from Johot to study as I know, it's my choice. All my relatives stay in Johor and Malacca. Some of them, I meet them once in two years, once a year, or maybe more than these. No matter how seldom we meet each others, the bond and the kinship is never faded. Every year we will chit chat, updating each others and GAMBLE. I have to admit that I have no ong at all in this year. Gamble two times and lost. I stopped playing to avoid greater losses. Haha... I shall not gamble anymore in this year.

I seldom meet my mom's side relatives. Usually every 2nd day of cny, we will go to granny's house in Masjid Tanah to gather. This year, something different happened. One of my uncle, dig out all the old pictures and showed everyone. Hmmm... Old people is more nostalgic as you can see spark in their eyes when they look at their youth pics.

Beef Meal

I went back home for Chinese New Year celebration on last Friday. Finally I got to meet up my baby brother who has been away to Japan for one month then once he came back, he entered NS in Malacca after I came back to Penang. In the morning of eve, the whole family went to Ayer Keroh camp site to pick up my baby bro who has been long waited us since 6am. He called mom at 530am saying that they can leave already. He cant wait to go back kampong! Actually we had already returned to Machap Baru one night before so that on the next day, we can go and find bro on time. Who knows his time has been pushed forward alot!

Before reaching Melaka, we actually stopped by in Tangkak to have Monster Beef Meal. The name of the meal is really true, which is what the boss mentioned. He couldn't stop bragging about his cooking skill and said if u can find any better beef, tell him and he will fly there. Crazy~

We even called the restaurant one day earlier just to book the beef as the chef only serves the monster beef meal to the close customers. Dad tried the dishes before that's why we got the chance to become one of the VIP of the restaurant.

Hmmm... Cant tahan the chef bragging about himself. I shall try it by myself!

This tastes abit like 'niu lam' . The beef is mixed of meat and internal organ. I dont really like it.

Mixed of meat and internal organ again, but with some soup. I would prefer this but the 'fu zuk' taste is abit too strong for me.

Bone with soup and I shall say it's FANTASTIC!!! The soup is very sweet and the aroma of beef isssssss very tempting. Instead of adding ajinamoto, the chef uses yellow bean to boil the soup.

I like this the most! Steam beef with onion leaves! haha... It's a very simple dish. The soup is abit tasteless, but the aroma of beef which is brought out by the soup is just amazing. Such a simple dish impressed me. Besides, the beef is sooooo soft until you feel like every slices of meat melt inside your mouth.

I have faced some problems in uploading my pictures in this post. Usually I will use the blogger image downloader which is collaborated with Picasa Web Album. But that day when I was half way downloading pictures for my Masquearade Night Part III, suddenly the system mentioned that my album was over 1 gb and I was requested to purchase for bigger storage. HUH?

Seriously this incident really caused me no mood to blog for awhile. I never know there will be full storage, and I tried to delete some old pics in Picasa Web Album and attempt failed. Haiz... Now I need to use photobucket, which is very slow in Usm, to upload the pics.

Searching for the info from http://www.what2seeonline.com , we have found something that we must eat in Penang.

First stop, Ah Leng Char Kuey Tiao

Normal Char Kuey Tiao which costs RM5.00

It's much cheaper than the sister's ckt, and it's much nicer and better than it. Until now I think it's the best ckt I have ever eaten in island. Haha, except for the one in BM and NT.

The duck egg is so cheap as usual price is 80 cent. Suprisingly the taste of the duck egg is very nice, but the taste is too strong until it has covered the char kuey tiao's taste.

Baby prefer the normal one.

And I prefer the one with the duck egg. Good, more for me!

We have been craving for this for so long. Long way to Air Hitam, just to eat the asam laksa here. We had tried the asam laksa at Penang Road, which was recommended by a local friend. But Air Hitam's is still the best in town.

Fried Oyster.

Before this I still haven tried any nice ou jian in Penang though it's one of the famous penang's food. This shop is located somewhere near to Komtar and it's strongly recommended by the blogger. It's seriously not bad as you can taste the egg and flour separately. It's not too watery but it's abit oily for me. Baby complaint that there were too little of oysters. haha.

After eating for so much, it's time to find a place to burn the calorie. I have found out that there is not many fascinating place in penang except for those like Ji lok si temple, snake temple, Bukit Bendera which are more for tourists who first come to penang. Shopping malls which provide not many options also cause me out of idea on the following destination. Then we suddenly remember a place which was recommended by a local friend. It's the shooting place for Malaysia Star Ah Niu 's film, Hong Dou Chu Lian Ping. It looks very old school at the entrance so we decided to check it out though the sun was blasting out there.

Too bad. We need to pay RM 10 for each person to enter the place. I think there are some temples and building inside. So we decided to leave the memory at the entrance only.

Mango Lassi for baby. I think it's unnecessary for me to further describe the taste of it as it's strongly shown on the piggie face.

Mutton Varuval

It's cooked of mutton + ginger + onion dry masala & spices. It's very tasteful and the mutton is soft!

Chicken Perathal

It's something like curry chicken, a good curry chicken, but it's too normal among the special dishes.

Palak Tahu

I shall recommend this dish to everyone who go to this restaurant. It's grinded spinach and cottage cheese cooked with fresh cream. Maybe you feel weird of the color, but I rate this as the dish of the day! It's extremely nice and every spoonful of the sauce give u unimaginable taste. Main thing, it's healthy ♥♥♥♥♥♥

Sambal Fish

I shall say it's a 'TRUE' sambal. This is not the kind of sweet sambal or watery sambal, instead every mouth tastes the spice and aroma! As a spice lover I cant even stand for the pedas. The sambal is very suitable to eat together with the rice. ♥♥♥♥

Tosai

We ate all the dishes, together with tosai instead of white rice so that it wont be too filling. The tosai is huge and a little bit crispy.♥

After filling the stomach, we went to the newly opened shopping mall, Strait Quay. It aims for higher consume and lots of branded shops will be moving in soon. But too bad, currently there are only few shops there and bars and cafe along the seaside.

Meeting up MRSM gang last week in KL. The girls cant stop complaining about the unchanged venue but
this is still the most potential venue that can gather all of us. Unlike others, we seldom have yum cha session or movie session. As usual we have our 3 days 2 nights gathering again in old place. Thanks for my brother for providing us shelter for a night or else Awei, Hui shuang and I will need to stay in hotel by our own.

I can feel hunger from Liang's face. haha... It was too crowded in every restaurant and long queue was everyday.

Promised myself that I need to date with the books tonight, instead of baby ;p But the cooling and chilling night leading me to no where. I don't expect too much in the earnings and I don't even know how this thingy work but I just suddenly feel like my blog is kind of empty.

Hmmm... Wandering around my documents and I have found this lovely picture, which was taken in one year ago I think. hmmm... maybe more than that. Haha. I still remember that night I took this pic together with my sis because of the new pyjamas she bought for me in HK. The bear bear printed on the pyjamas was similar that's why we called them as sisters' pyjamas.

It was a dramatic day for me. It was supposed to be a great day for me to get out from this town. But before this, I made a super duper wrong mistake by following whong to Aimmax, well known hair saloon in Parit Buntar. This unintentionally decision has cost me a high price. Due to no reason, I decided to ask the hair stylist to cut and trim a bit of my bottom part of hair so that it wouldn't be so fluffy and dried. Without wearing contact lens, I couldnt see what had the lady done to my hair. But I did remind her that I didnt want to shorten my hair and I wanted to remain the thickness and bla bla bla.... When everything had done, I wore my spec and looked at my new hairstyle in the mirror, I almost fainted!!! My hair was just 3 cm longer than the shoulder length and she still wanted to trim my side hair so that it wont be disconnected from the back hair. I had taken few years to keep my hair until such length and yet in 1 hour, she just took away every effort that I had put on. I was so heart broken seeing my hair, lying deadly on the floor. Besides, it will be harder for me to take care of the shoulder length hair because of my current hair condition, which is dry and damaging. Baby kept on saying it still looked good on me, but I need time to adapt it.

Forget about the emo matter, we had reached island. We were heading to Daorea korean BBQ restaurant near to Batu Ferringgi.

Actually we just found out that there are several branches in PJ area and the HQ is in Sri Hartamas. Since it's called as a BBQ korean restaurant, certainly we must try the bbq here.

After dinner, we went to G Spot as it was recommended by a friend.

It was a very cozy, chilling place for friends and couple to come for a talk and enjoy to the music. The best thing that I love about this place was it's non smoking area ^^ And the the luck was by our side as we get to listen to the performance by a jazz singer as the night was the second last night that he sang at the bar. His voice was like a drug, which was so soft and enticing. He was so talented as he can play harmonica and guitar at once. Indulgence in the charming voice and nice ambience, you will feel very relaxing. Baby said it was even relaxing than sleeping. haha.

Happy moments flew. And it's time for us to prepare for the up coming battle.

I just got back from site visit to Projalma Precast Concrete Site in Batu Gajah, Perak. The total of five hours of journey was tiring, but due to the well-organized and commitment from the site officers, I have gained a very precious learning experience today. Unlike any other site visit, the proper explaination and guidance from the officers gave each of five small groups a chance to understand more about how to produce the precast concrete, how to tie the precast concrete together at the site and many more. It was great!

hmmm... However, I cant find any female engineer here, except one female clerk who kindly showed us the way to toilet.

The reinforcement bars are neatly tied together.

I can imagine how strong the reinforcement. The semisphere stones are called spacer block which limit the dimension of the cover.
